I play in an international touring act called Winds of Plague. Also play in an national touring act called Goliath. I've been playing guitar for 14 years and producing/Auido engineering for about ten. My father is a gifted blues guitarist so I was lucky enough to have a good teacher at a young age. I have studied and am into many different styles of music. My biggest strength is probably metal and rock but not my only playing style. I am interested in getting students to want to be able to think outside the box and use musical theory as a way to be creative. Writing music is my favorite thing and I think I can be helping in making exercises into tools for creativity. I help my father teach his students and also help my guitar teacher in high school. I have an AA degree in Audio engineering and a pro tools certification. I also produce hip hop and other forms of electronic based music mainly in logic X. So if you want help learning to record edit mix and master your own work I can be very helpful with that. I have produced beats for artist like Ben Great, Omen Xii, Steve Cannon, lil xan, Hodgy Beats and Left brain of odd future.

I would like to help students by not only giving them skill training but also song writing lessons. It is much more fun to be given creative challenges and theory challenges at once. So for example not only will you learn the scales and chord progessions that are nessacary. You will also learn how to use them in an orignal and creative way. Ill show you how to take that usually boring and tough musical work and apply it to your own material.
I have a AA in audio engieering and produciton. I have played in bands and done session work since I was 12 years old i'm 26 now. My band is signed to the lable eOne. I have worked in many different recording studios as an engineer and assiant engineer. I have my own studio where I record everything from Metal bands to Pop singers. I'm constanly working on multiple styles of music.
I used to have to help kids in my guitar class in high school. I got to the point where I was a better player than our teacher so kids started asking me questions and I had fun hleping out. Also my dad was a guitar teacher and he would have me help him give lessons to his students as my skills devolped.
Understand that music is not an easy thing to get good at. It takes a lot of thought and attention. Not many people become amazing at it right away. It usually takes years of hard work and devotion to get strong skills. They say there is nothing more of a mental work out than playing an instrument. However the more you make music a part of your life the more you are going to fall in love with it. Music can be one of the greatest things you will ever experience and it deserves hard work.
What can I do to not only grow my playing ability but also my musical mind as a whole. How can I be a better player but also a better song writer.
