Every instructor, even those within the same school or art will be different. Look for one that you fit with. I enjoy sharing my love of Aikido with other people. The practice encompasses obvious physical elements, but it also requires and understanding of the technical, spiritual and cultural aspects to be fully appreciated. Our founder wanted the art to primarily be about self-improvement in order to make the world a better place. It is an individual journey that each of us must undertake for ourselves to our own destinations, but at the same time it is wonderful to travel on our quest with companions going in the same direction....

The knowledge that I like to pass is used and proven to be effective in a competition setting along with a realistic self defense setting. Not only do you learn and get a great workout but I make sure to make it fun in the process. I enjoy being able to help people achieve their goals in martial arts or fitness weather it's to compete at any level or to simply stay in shape and everything in between.
