I specialize in helping beginner and intermediate guitarists learn a "Master Guitar Foundation–Made Fun & Easy, Guitar Synergy ©2023".
My proprietary picking, fretting, strumming, and timing drills come from 1000 hours of playing and teaching, observing hundreds of my guitar students' excellent results. I've seen what techniques fail to produce accuracy, timing, speed, feel, muscle memory, and mental and physical endurance. This helps students at any level take their guitar playing to the next playing level.
I love beginners and helping passionate, disciplined students meet their musical goals using proven early development learning strategies!

ABOUT ME...
I'm passionate about helping people learn excellent guitar-playing techniques and musicianship skills in a supportive, goal-oriented environment. I love to help budding guitarists and all-level guitar players on their journey to express themselves through music and experience the joy and confidence that making music through the guitar can bring into one's life.
I've been a full-time guitarist, singer-songwriter, and music educator with 43 years of playing experience and 25 years as a career professional in performance, composition, recording, and guitar and music teaching.
GUITAR SYNERGY METHOD
My real-world musicianship and guitar-playing chops help me give my students fast results in a supportive, goal-oriented learning environment using performance-based learning.
The way I teach is summed up in my "Guitar Synergy Method ®2023", which is like any other Guitar Method Available. I've spent thousands of hours teaching and performing, which helped me develop a broad, holistic musicianship guitar learning approach that's student-specific. I will show you how to target and layer foundational guitar and musicianship information, creating accelerated learning. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Get to know the student, their guitar playing experience level, goals, skills, challenges, the music styles, and skills they're interested in and would like to learn most. Apply core guitar playing principals through handouts with proprietary drills and exercises that can be tweaked for each student's unique learning style and skill level. Great for engineers but applicable for any skill level, even advanced. Keep lessons, fun, playing focused as much as possible, helping students perform the songs and styles of guitar and improvisation and composition, songwriting and lyric writing techniques, s soon as possible without creating bad playing and thinking habits. This is accomplished through a comprehensive step by step, performance-based learning focusing on picking and fretting technique, smart ways to navigate, memorize and think about the notes on your fretboard, enhancing your positive playing potential in all musical styles.

• Awarded a Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) Studio Music Composition from SUNY Purchase College, Purchase NY, 1997
• 25 years of professional performance and teaching experience, with over 500 performances and 10,000 + hours mastery. Extensive private and group class teaching experience.
