Hi there! I am a working professional musician and have been for 30 years. I offer guitar lessons, performance coaching, songwriting, and recording to help you reach all of your goals and guide you to become a pro as well. I accept ALL levels- Adults and kids. I'm a former member of Lindsey Buckingham's (from Fleetwood Mac) solo band, Meredith Brooks, Air Supply, and more. I was also a student of the legendary Randy Rhoads. I have released 6 cd's and been signed to a label twice. I'm a working musician and tour all over the world with 2 projects. I've worked as a guitar coach in many ways including coaching actress Jennifer Jason Leigh for 2 months on the set of the Quentin Tarantino film "The Hateful Eight." I've had the honor of being named "Top 50 Acoustic Guitar Players (bonus list) in August 2017 issue of Guitar Player Magazine as well as "Top 10 Female Guitarists"- Guitar World Magazine, 2012. I love teaching because I love to share my passion for the guitar and music with others.. doesn't matter what age you are, you are never too young or old to try playing an instrument.. Playing music will enhance your life, bring people together, and for you personally- it will help you feel like you are also giving something back to yourself. There's nothing like working at something and reaping the joy's and benefits of that work, in this case, playing music that you love!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It depends on each student and what they are looking to do. With beginners usually I start with learning chords and strumming and soon move onto songs. We can dive into fingerpicking.. lead/solo work, scales, etc.. I taylor each lesson to each individual. The lesson is for YOU, not for me to sit and watch me play :)

How did you get started teaching?
Friends of mine starting asking for lessons and I found out I actually enjoyed teaching guitar because I love playing it so much.. I like to share the passion of music.

Beginners, intermediate and advanced
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Think beforehand what your goals are and come prepared to ask me- it's always better when you have some specifics in mind. That said, I'm always happy to make suggestions for you and help you on your journey through learning guitar.
