About this pro

I have been teaching guitar for over 30 years and noticed in the last five years that my students have started progressing faster and have increased dedication and joy from playing.

In addition to be the guitarist in the Laguna Beach Pageanr of the Masters orchestra I am also an in demand LA session player.

I am comfortable teaching many musical styles including pop, rock, jazz, classical, country and bluegrass.

I also have a deep knowledge of music theory and technique.

My business has all five star ratings on Google, thumbtack and yelp as well.

I am equally comfortable teaching beginners as well as advanced students.

You will progress quickly!

I look forward to meeting you

I have a core group of dedicated students and we have a great time together!

The dude is a legend! Every time I see him shred I want to cry cause that’s how good I’d like to be lol.. and of course seeing the possibility in front of me is very encouraging!! Brian is very knowledgeable in many styles of music and his years of experience are effortlessly noticeable. He’s very cool and patient and really tries to paint a picture with his words so that you understand what’s he’s taking about .. but like I said he’s very experienced so if you’re a beginner and don’t know what he’s talking about ask questions up and down, left to right! And slowly one stepping stone at a time you’ll see, you’re playing will improve!

Brian is such a cool teacher. Sometimes I get so defeated and he does such an amazing job of encouraging me to keep trying. He is so patient and so knowledgeable about the instrument. His passion is contagious. I look forward to challenging myself in good company with Brian as my teacher. And there’s also tons of parking in front of his studio LOL which to me is a pretty big deal

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I like to know the number of years a student has been playing and the type of music they’re interested in learning.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I took private lessons weekly for the first ten years of playing as well as finishing a bachelors degree from Berklee College of Music.
