Yufei's Guitar And All

Hello there. Yufei here. I started as a classical guitar student back in when I was 12. After a few years I started teaching myself electric guitar all the while soaking my head in the music of Beatles, Zeppelin, Queen and GN'R. From there I gradually gained interest in more and more different styles of guitar-oriented music. Fusion giant Pat Metheny, Flamenco maestro Paco de Lucia (R.I.P.), Fingerstyle masters Tommy Emmanuel and Kotaro Oshio have all been my inspirations.

My heart is for metal so I've also been heavily shredding on some Megadeth and Ozzy sort of ear-busters. Some more recent bands of interests includes Children of Bodom, Lamb of God, Tool and Avenged Sevenfold. I've been teaching since I was 17, giving primarily private lessons, but also summer school classes in church. Anyhow, that's what you can be expecting from my lessons. I'm by no means the best available teacher for you in all of the aforementioned styles, but I'm willing to put my branched-out musical tastes into good use and work with you on whatever music you'd love to play.
