My teaching approach:
I have been playing guitar professionally for 40 years. My playing style focuses on Blues, R&B, Country and Rock. I prefer to teach students fundamental skills like reading staff music, scales, chord structure and basic theory as it applies to these elements. With these basic skills in mind, I can then expand the student's knowledge of certain styles and techniques.
My guitar lessons take place in:
in the teacher's studio or student's home
Guitar Lessons with me take place in the following areas:
San Diego County, especially East County, in my home or in the student's home
Guitar Techniques:
Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Fingerstyle, Slide Guitar, Performance, Improvisation, Jamming Skills, Reading Music, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises
