Hello parents and students,
I hope this note finds you in good health and your activities are under control. My intention to teach these classes (karate, judo, kobudo, and self-defense) is to share my experiences from my 42 years of practice and 30 years of teaching. I want to build a new team for the area of Los Angeles regarding traditional karate exclusively sport karate (cometition type). My teaching includes, basics, philosophie, anatomy, psychotherapy, and more.
To be honest, i enjoy more the interaction between my students and me in terms of understanding, evaluation, revision, adjustment, and comprehension. I enjoy team work as well as individual input. I enjoy observing students who are curious and studious. Finally, i enjoy see the changes my training brings to diverse populations based on level of learning and aprehension. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a doctoral student in Psychology, a renshi in Shotokan karate-do, a sensei in judo and kobudo. I am quadrilingual-French, english, Creole, and Spanish. I am the head instructor in many recreation centers in LA areas. I practice zen, yoga, and meditation.
