David Paul Torres is a concert guitarist born in Los Angeles, California. Has A Bachelor or Arts Degree in Music. His love for both the aggressive sounds of amplified guitar and the natural elegance of classical guitar has helped refine his approach to playing, performing and writing music.

Classically, he has performed in masterclasses for guitarists Pepe Romero, Celin Romero and Ana Vidovic, and was one of the opening performers for Ana Vidovic’s concert in Los Angeles concert (2017)  and Pepe and Celino Romero at the Warner Grand Theater 2018

My greatest pleasure is to give back what I have learned to others. It has taken me a long time to acquire the knowledge and skill that I possess. I have been blessed that I have been taught by some master teachers and that I can pass along information that can cut down the time, frustration and confusion of learning the guitar and repretoire. It brings me great joy to see my students learn to express their emotions through the guitar. I feel personally invested in each student that I teach and care about them realizing their musical endeavors.

David is by far the best guitar teacher I have ever had (and just an all around awesome guy)! I picked up the guitar after almost a decade of not playing and he helped me refresh on the basics and took my playing to the next level. While other teachers had me playing music that didn’t excite me, David would always make sure to ask me what I want to play and bring me something I would be excited about. He continues to challenge me every lesson without making me feel discouraged. Look forward to my lessons every week!

He's a really great teacher very patient and kind. One of my favorite things is that he understands that everybody doesn't learn same and takes the time to find the best way to teach you. Two thumbs way up.
