Phyllis Plotkin Piano Lessons

I care about giving students the tools they will need to make the best music they can. This includes of comprehensive program of technique, sight-reading, ear-training, learning pieces and performing.

I have taught private lessons for over 40 years, and really feel like I'm in my best teaching years now. I taught at Piedmont Piano for many years, and also at Alameda School of music. Now I teach at home and enjoy having all my materials at hand, and giving students the opportunity to play on a very good grand piano.

I'm a member of the Music Teachers Association, and a performing member of the Berkeley Piano club.

I love music and if nothing else, hope to give all my students an appreciation for it that will last their lives.
