About
I teach ages 8-adult, all styles Broadway to classical, but I specialize in musical theatre. I teach all of my students healthy vocal technique and music reading skills and give them live performing experience. They have been performing live on zoom once a month for the last 10 months, see profile picture for done of them after their last performance, but we hope to be together again soon on my theatre stage! I have many students who are in the top performing arts schools in and around LA and many who have gone on to professional careers from professional regional theatre to Broadway.
Seeing the massive vocal and confidence growth in all of my students.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start all students with healthy vocal technique with the goal of getting the most range, control, and best tone quality while keeping the voice healthy. We will work on a variety of music chosen for growth and from the students interest. Most of my students love musical theatre so we work primarily within that style but pop, jazz, classical, are also favorites so we bounce around based on what keeps the students motivated and growing. I also teach all students to read music.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been singing professionally since the age of 8 when I signed my first recording contact. I sung in trading and professional choirs for 25 years. I have been performing in professional musical theatre and teaching private voice for 30 years. I have exceeded the college required credits to aquire my college degree in music education. I am also a co-creator of young starts theatre (23 years) and have been in, produced, and musically directed over 100 musicals in my career.
