We specialize in young children and adults. We have students as young as 4 and as old as 82. Classes are fun and interactive and educational. We put a emphasis on music theory for children and adults to learn to read music since this helps with math and science with children and memory problems with adults. We have many references and are happy to have you speak with our exisiting clients about our program.
I love when people get to play their first song that they want to play for fun and to see the pregression they can make in a very short period of time.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We meet with the child and parents are always welcome to in on the class. We introduce the appropriate materials which we bring with us. W are interactive and fun so that the child looks forward to "Ms Annette" coming for piano verses "Oh I have piano today". Music needs to be fun but in a educational way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have owned Kids Music N' Moton for over 20 years and have worked with many school districts, parks and recreation departments as well as private and semi private students in the South Bay area. As well as have trained other music teachers to become better teachers and how to get through to each child.

Group Classes in our studio in Rancho Palos Verdes are $125.00 for 8 weeks. Privates are $35.00 in our music satudio in Rancho Palos Verdes and $45.00 in your home. Classes are 30 minutes for privates and also may do addtional time for an additional cost.
How did you get started teaching?
I have a been a educator for the past 25 years. I love working with all types of students and find it a challenge to figure out how the child/adult learners. If they are audio, visual or kinesthetic learners. This way we can teach them to their learning potential. I also have a great sense of humor and lots of eneregy to work with people and "Love Teaching".
What types of students have you worked with?
All age groups incluging preschool and seniors. I have also worked with special needs children and have great success with them in my program.
