Located in San Carlos, teaching in a private home. To qualify for online lessons, student must know how to read music and tune their instruments as I am not physically there to help with the tuning.

Dr. Jungmee Hwang is a mom, a violinist, a dentist, and an amateur figure skater. Due to COVID-19, Dr. Hwang has started to spend more time at home teaching her son violin instead of being at the dental clinic. She has Bachelor's degrees in both Music and Life Sciences from Queen's University in Kingston, ON, Canada as well as Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University in Boston, MA. Jungmee Hwang started playing violin at the age of 4, first starting with her own mother who is a music major in violin/viola. Dr Hwang has won several Kiwanis Festival music competitions in Canada at a local level both in Calgary AB, and Kingston, ON. She was a member of Calgary Youth Chamber Strings, Intermediate Orchestra, Calgary Youth Orchestra, Dudley House Orchestra at Harvard University and Longwood Symphony in Boston, MA, and Peninsula Symphony Orchestra. Dr Hwang's unique experience lets her help people learn music from a different perspective.
