About
My lessons are not just about fundamentals and mechanics, although I do teach strong fundamentals and mechanics of the voice, I also emphasize the art of the performance. How to deliver a lyric with feeling, how to be a story teller as well as a strong singer...
I enjoy working one on one with singers. I’ve done it over 30 years and have past and present students that have achieved great success...

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With new students, i like to make sure they feel comfortable enough before we start singing so we basically start out with just simply learning the basics of strong breath support, good diction and enunciation along with proper face placement...
When a student feels more relaxed we will then start with some easy scales that gradually lead into singing a complete song...
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained by Helen Lee in classical and contemporary voice from 1986 - 1991 and have since worked with various artists and producers ranging from Quincy Jones, Mathew Wilder (Writer/producer of the musical score in Disney's "Mulan",also "No Doubts" 15 million selling "Tragic Kingdom CD")Robbie Nevill Producer/Singer/songwriter) to Guy O'seary (Co-owner and CEO of Maverick Recording Company. Madonna's Label) and Alby Galuten (Producer/co-writer of various artists, ranging from Jellyfish to Barbara Streisand and The Bee Gees etc). In the past 2 decades Bobby Zoppi was signed to MCA Records, Qwest Records(Quincy Jones record label) and Warner/Chapell Publishing and released 2 national CD's.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lessons are 30 min private sessions, 1 per week/4 per month.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching back in 1994 with just a few students and by 1998 I had over 40 students weekly and have continued ever since...
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students including but not limited to pop, rock, country, jazz, blue grass, r&b, blues, folk etc. My students have ranged in age from 4 years old to 85 years young.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my prior students of 8 years just recently released a national single on Disney country radio... Im very proud of her.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise a student to make sure they feel comfortable enough with an instructor to be able to really execute their voice properly. They must feel confident enough because confidence is half the battle with singing.
