I've been teaching drums/percussion and beginning - intermediate Piano for over 10 years for kids and adults. I am a professional percussionist and musician, and improviser and am very organized when I plan lessons. I am also flexible to open up the lessons to meet students' special needs as well. I always try my best to provide fun and worthful lessons. I am patient very good at communicating with students to make sure to meet their needs and make them happy. I am also a native speaker of Japanese, so if you are Japanese and want fully-Japanese lessons, I can provide them.
What makes me the most excited and enjoy teaching work is when students find joy in accomplishing their work. I love helping them reach their goal, or even helping them find the goal.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually start with a trial lesson to see if we are a good fit. I ask my students what are their needs prior to the lesson and I try my best to provide materials that fit them perfectly.
