Let me teach you how to play guitar at your level and give you the musicianship skills needed to be a great musician. My lessons offer students the opportunity to use many of the songs they want to play to learn modern guitar technique. I also put emphasis on learning extremely useful skills such as:

Practicing techniques

Sight reading

Scales and keys

Music theory

Basic keyboard concepts

Ear training

Transcription

Basic guitar maintenance and repair

Etc.

A little about myself: I am a graduate of San Jose State University with a bachelors of music in jazz studies. Guitar has been my main instrument for the past decade and I've been teaching and gigging professionally for about the past 4 years. My favorite genre is jazz though I also have love for a lot of classical, rock, pop, indie, and folk music.

Lessons are available in home depending on location. Children age 7 and up to adults (with possible exceptions.) No travel fee for students in the Santa Teresa/Cottle area. Contact for more details and information.
