I have been taking piano and Studio One lessons from Josh for 3 years, and he is an excellent teacher for both. I started with lessons on how to use Studio One because I wanted to be able to record demos for my original songs. He explained music production concepts in a clear and easy to understand way, and also demonstrated how to apply those concepts in Studio One.
Regarding piano lessons, my goal was to be able to understand music theory as applied to song writing. With what I have learned from Josh, my song writing has significantly improved and I couldn’t be happier with the progress. I am also excited to get ready to play worship music at my church. Josh’s ability to break down complicated concepts, coupled with his patience and encouragement makes learning piano extremely rewarding and a joyful experience.
