What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We sit down with him /or her to see what are they looking to for by hiring me and from there I have different programs to fit my clients. From boxing to kickboxing to condition

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I graduated from Grant high I started boxing at the age of 12 and competed on over 45 amateur fights I turn pro at the age of 20 under Jonny Hernandez then switch to kickboxing under David Krapes had 17 amateur kickboxing fights and 10 pro fights. I’m a retired pro fighter I fought for over 20 + years in Boxing, Kickboxer and Muay Thai I have several pro and amateurs Titles. I also work with  fighters

How did you get started teaching?

I started after I retired in 2006, I couldn’t stay away from the gym One day I was helping out with  one of the students and My training ask me if I wanted to start helping him with the new kids so, I did and I been teaching since.

What types of students have you worked with?

all levels from  beginners that haven’t  ever put some gloves on to pros kids with disabilities,

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I go to a lot of different events   USKO,IFS,King of the cage, WCK and more....

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

To ask a lot of questions about your teacher where he's coming from  check back round, what does he teach  and where did he learn because there's a lot of fake trainer out there.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Be straightforward and ask lots of questions about who your hiring because there’s a lot of training that never fought or been around this sports and they are teaching bad techniques and they are only for the money.
