Knowledgeable and personalized. He cares about helping you reach your goals

There’s a multilayered reason why I enjoyed training and working out with poi and it can be explained simply; he geneuinely cares about his craft and the people around him. He wants you to be the best you that you can be, whether you see it or not at that time he is always pushing you in a way that will work for you so the both of you can accomplish it together. He cares about his students like were his family, and I truly believe that we are to him and vice versa. He’s a mentor, a coach, teacher, and a friend all in one. Each day I caught myself leaving exhausted from the workouts, appreciative of the knowledge, and most importantly happy and grateful to be a part of a family. Poi is someone who has changed my life and many others around me.

If you're looking for fitness, he's your guy. If you're looking for techniques, he's your guy. Whatever you're looking for, he's very well rounded and knowledgeable on top of being very laid back and disciplined at the same time. Training with Poi is just good vibes.

He was my first striking coach ever and he helped me find a love for Muay Thai and the sport. Very good at teaching, within 2 years I was able to compete multiple times and always improved by following his teachings. Couldn’t ask for a better coach. Not only does he do really well teaching the technical side, but his burnout/bag classes are always great too.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I start with an interview to find out the goals. Then we do an intro lesson to just begin the basics. As we progress I alter the lessons to adjust to the progress of the client.
