About
Saro Babikian is an award winning guitarist based in Los Angeles. Saro appeared in major concert halls such as the prestigious Carnegie Hall (NY), Damascus Opera House, Komitas Chamber Music House in Yerevan and others. Saro is a multiple award winner in various competitions such as the G&O Andriassian Guitar Competition, Sierra Nevada Guitar Competition and International Music Competition in Serbia. Saro appeared as a guest soloist with Port Townsend Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Tigran Arakelyan in 2018. In 2017 he was invited to perform at the Yerevan International Guitar Festival.
Saro holds degrees of Bachelors of Music and Master of Music from the University Of Southern California Thornton School Of Music under the instruction of Scott Tennant, William Kanengiser and Brian Head. Saro is an active educator and performer in the Los Angeles area.
He was born to Armenian parents in Damascus, Syria in 1995.

Charge is per lesson. Lessons vary from 30 to 60 minutes depending of the level. Fees of lessons at my studio: $30 for 30 minute lesson, $40 for 45 minutes and $50 for one hour.
