    Frequently asked questions

My typical process is to always start out with the basics, and of course having fun! I like to show the student what is in their hands, how it operates, what each part of the instrument is called, and ultimately how to use and manipulate the instrument while expressing yourself like you can't in any other way!

I have been a self-taught musician since the age of about 5. I grew up in choir, started playing the clarinet in 4th grade, drums in 5th, and eventually picked up the guitar in high school. I've been in musical related classes & around musicians all my life, and I'm currently about to start school at College of the Canyons for guitar/vocals. It only goes up from here!

Depending on the type and duration of the lesson, I usually do $25 for a 30 min session while also giving them a free introductory lesson.

I started teaching when I started learning! I basically taught myself! Of course I am still learning and have a long way to go. It never stops! I've always been passionate about teaching others how to do things (skateboard, throw a football, run fast) since I was young and I've always felt a calling to help others learn the very thing I love most. I haven't taught many many people, only about 15 but that's why I'm here.

Mostly beginners or people "at my level". I can teach all levels of course but mainly it's been people that are new to the art/craft.
