My name is Jonathan, a music teacher in Venice, California that is interested in developing artists ears starting from the basics, with a focus on ear training, chords, modes, progressions for jazz musicians. This includes sight reading and sight singing familiar tunes from multiple sources and examples from the Real Fake Book and other resources such as "Grimoire" series publications for piano and guitar. I will begin with an interview and assessment, and structure lessons that focus on what you want to learn, to make sure we will both be happy.
