Well, I have been playing guitar for 30+ years and have been singing for about the same amount of time in choirs and as a soloist. I specialize in Blues, but play rock, classical, flamenco, jazz, bluegrass, country and pretty much anything else you might throw at me given time. With that said, I am primarily a solo and/or lead guitarist.

I like to get to know my students and develop a personalized plan based on experience and desire. Generally I go into basic theory so there is a comprehensive understanding of basic musicality as opposed to just focusing on guitar alone. We will discuss tools, tips and tricks as well as good sources of additional information and tools. We can sound out songs if desired and work on specific music. We can also discuss a variety of other topics. I am on your time and I want you to have the freedom to set your own pace and learn in your own way. I like to be a guide and a mentor to my students on technique so that they can expand from there.

Specialties: Finger picking, soloing, and riffs.
