Our two top orchestras recently performed on stage at Carnegie Hall in New York where we received a gold rating. We plan on returning to Carnegie in 2023. Every one of our teachers have either advanced degrees or 20+ years experience teaching music.
We are continually trying to find ways to give our students the best musical education available. This includes regular master classes where students are able to perform for each other and learn music theory on a very high level, semester concerts at TVHS auditorium and music competitions in the spring for our higher level learners.
The most I love about our work is what it does for our students. Learning a musical instrument is an amazing way to build confidence and self-esteem in youth. Our orchestras provide a way for them to also have lots of fun with thier peers and build freindships that they wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to make. Also, every student in our orchestras are also taking private lessons from one of our teachers which gives the orchestras the ability to improve much faster than your usual public school orchestra. So the student next to you is also putting forth the same amount of effort to achieve excellence.
