All that wonderful guidance and knowledge is presented in humor and I have found myself giggling throughout every class. She’s always patient and professional. I experienced a lot of stiffness after WFH, Jamie’s classes have helped me a lot. My energy level and body stiffness have been improved a lot. Jamie also modified the workouts every time according to my needs and my energy level. I always feel very grateful and relaxed after practicing yoga with her. ☺️" Read more

My hope is to develop a deeply healing, long term relationship with my students. I teach a specialized form of restorative yoga that utilizes plenty of props and angles to help GENTLY release deep spinal muscles, which are difficult to access and chronically tight for everyone. It is deceptively simple, yet quite effective. Most poses are done laying on the floor, which makes this practice accessible for almost everyone. I literally SUPPORT you in poses so that you can truly melt. During our first session together, we'll discuss any injuries or limitations--physical or otherwise--that you may be working with and I tailor sequences accordingly...

Witnessing the positive changes in students' physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Be a part of the students' transformation. Yoga has taught me how to go inward to uncover the voice of intuition and trust it, to have the courage to face my shadows, to have the strength to accept it and to understand that compassion for all and radical self love are also necessary. When I walk onto the mat, I feel like I have finally arrived home. I am whole. I am welcomed. I am seen. I am accepted. I am safe. I am loved. I am enough. And I want to offer students the same feelings when I teach. I teach what I practice, because I am so passi...

How much do meditation classes cost near me?

Meditation classes cost $15 to $30 per person for a group session. One-on-one sessions cost $60 to $150 per hour for a more individualized experience. Some teachers offer online virtual classes for groups or individuals with ongoing monthly plans.

Higher prices apply for supplemental add-ons to enhance meditation, such as aromatherapy or sound baths with Tibetan singing bowls.

Meditation classes typically start with an introductory talk. Then everyone closes their eyes and sits still. Classes can include a simple guided breathing technique to reduce stress and tension. If it's a guided meditation session, then the teacher speaks each instruction for focusing.

Casey is my favorite yoga teacher I’ve ever had. She was my teacher when I initially started practicing yoga. I’ve had teachers that have made me feel like I should be able to do something that my body was not yet capable of, but Casey always made every pose so accessible. She gives you options for how to modify the pose, while also coming around to physically help you into the correct position, without it being too much too fast. She has such a cheerful, friendly, and open personality and is wonderful at making everyone feel welcome. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Casey as a yoga instructor.

Jaime is an amazing yoga instructor! If you're looking for someone to help start your yoga practice or really expand and build upon your yoga foundation, Jamie is the teacher you've been looking for! She will push you when you are ready and she will help you rest when you need it. She knows all the tricks to help describe how your body should be feeling in a certain pose. Her yoga style is typically flow/vinyasa based, but she also leads great restorative classes. She is flexible, easy to communicate with, and a genuinely friendly person. During the pandemic she started teaching a 45 min restorative class that helps you center/ground and start off the week right. I highly recommend this class- especially if you are feeling stressed and tense. It always helps loosen the tension I carry in my neck and shoulders. She always answers questions and if something does feel right will change the direction of a yoga session to accommodate. I'm an intermediate yogi and I've done one on one and group classes with Jaime for over a year.

As a beginner, yoga can be quite intimidating. With Alison, however, she took the time to show me correct posture and to have fun in the process. Now in my fourth year of practicing yoga, I am constantly reminded of her fun-loving spirit and her ability to find joy in the moment.
