About
I focus primarily on rock guitar players such as Slash, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Joe Perry and other players in the same playing style. By seeing which level you're at currently, we can take it from there and develop the knowledge and skills that you need to play like those guys. I'll show you scales, how to improvise, chords, riffs, solos and such.
I've taught before, both privately and at schools.
I've played guitar for over 10 years, have done over 100 shows, have played in several different bands, and played music festivals.
I love sharing the experience and knowledge I have with other people. If there's anything I know that someone else don’t, I'll gladly show it to them and how they would go about to execute it.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
You show me in person which level you're at. You can also record a video if you feel nervous playing in front of me for our first lesson. After I know which skill level you're at, we'll start talking about your goals as a guitar player, which level of technique you'd like to reach and who your favorite guitar players are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a musical education from high school, and I have an AA degree in Guitar Performance at Musician's Institute. I've taught at schools, and have had private students before. I've played in several music groups, and have performed over a 100 shows.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge 30 USD an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I started because a friend asked me to teach a relative. That's when I started realising I like teaching about what I know, and share the knowledge.
What types of students have you worked with?
Both genders, different ages, beginners to intermediate students of the guitar.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Playing the OC Fair.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that you feel comfortable with your teacher, and you bond over something so you look forward going to your lessons.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How to develop right and left hand technique, how to learn by ear, how to find out the key of a song, can you tune your guitar in different tunings, how to practice properly without hurting your wrist or fingers and so on.
