What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Well actually this will be my first attempt at teaching in a very long time been a recording artist since 2001. I’ve also gone through the LACC classical guitar program.Because I’ve never had a reliable student, being reliable and dedicated to doing the practice and course work is extremely important. Other than that I focus on keeping a relaxed yet motivated atmosphere.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’ve been a recording artist since 2001. I’ve also gone through the classical guitar program at LACC, and I’ve also gone through the commercvoice program there. I also studied vocal method from the late great Jene Deva.

I charge $20 an hour, and I only accept cash, thanks

How did you get started teaching?

This will be my first real attempt at teaching.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

My band The Ghosts of the Insane and I just played our second show at The Doll Hut in Anaheim and an industry executive saw us there and is going to work with us!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Don’t settle for a cookie cutter method to teaching, make sure the teacher understands your individual needs as a student.
