About
30+ years of experience performing, collaborating and teaching. Doctorate in Collaborative Piano, degrees in classical and jazz voice plus some theatre training.
I've been preparing shows with singers at LA Opera and LA Philharmonic as a pianist and vocal coach, singing with LA Master Chorale, and regularly coaching and accompanying students as a faculty member at CalArts, UCLA and AMDA.
I played for rehearsals with Gustavo Dudamel, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Michael Tilson Thomas and James Conlon. I sang under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel, Zubin Mehta and Ennio Morricone. I performed at Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall and at the Kennedy Center, amongs many other venues in the States and all over the world.
Experienced in variety of styles: classical, contemporary classical, jazz, bossa nova, musical theatre, pop, rock and Balkan folk. Coaching songs in English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Latin, Portuguese, Russian, Bulgarian and Serbian (native).
I work with people holistically. To become the best artist you can be, it's not enough to have a great skill. You must have a vision, the drive and purpose in what you do. Once you do, you will start facing obstacles, some of them coming from within you - fear, anxiety, self-judgement, lack of belief. I find ways to help people that I coach break through their own shells and gain confidence through affirming their skills and their purpose in art.
