About

I started ATP Fitness 2 years ago with the goal of improving the health of my community, helping people wade through the often confusing world of fitness and health. I love helping people achieve the results and confidence that they never thought was possible.

I have been training my clients for 2 years now and I have my degree in exercise physiology, certifications in corrective exercise and general fitness. I also teach Brazilian jiu jitsu and muay thai. I have a unique approach of being able to fix clients muscle imbalances, reduce pain and improve movement quality. Then we begin to focus on building muscle mass to improve overall health.

Mark is so supportive and great at helping with previous injuries that caused weakness even after PT. Im able to walk without pain and Im getting stronger with every session. I would recommend Mark to anyone who is interested in getting fit and building strength, no matter your current health or age.

I’ve been working with Mark for a few months now and have been seeing a lot of improvement. We have been focusing on rebuilding my strength after many months away from the gym. He approaches fitness with a holistic mindset. I appreciate his focus on correct form, technique, and attention to regaining my mobility, not just infinite reps and working to fatigue.

    Frequently asked questions

We will talk about goals, relevant medical history, and what lifestyle changes should be made. I also do a Range of motion screening to see what muscle imbalances, or injuries could be limiting them.

I have my Bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology and I have been an athlete for most of my life.

I have a few different packages available depending on how many times a week the client wants to train. I also offer online coaching for people who have their own gym, or who travel frequently.

I began personal training in physical therapy clinics and have moved to personal training and teaching martial arts.

I have worked with clients and students of many age groups as well as people of many different athletic backgrounds.

One of my recent clients was struggling with an old injury and was told that there was nothing else conventional medicine could do anymore (surgery/ physical therapy). She no longer has a range of motion deficit and her quality of life has improved greatly!

Look for a teacher who isnt primarily in it for the money. They should constantly be learning and strive to be experts in their field.

How much time a week can you commit, what your budget is, and why you want to make changes. A good trainer will have different plans and rates depending on these things and will find ways to help you to succeed.
