We go over empty hands methods and weapons. An academy for everyone. I am an instructor in Jeet Kune Do, Krav Maga and currently a police academy instructor. Come learn with the best.
I love the change I see in people when they know they can defend themselves. The confidence they have in themselves is priceless. To gain that confidence and have fun doing it is a win-win situation.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process is to start them off slow and make it fun. A student has to be comfortable with their instructor and the people around them. We take the lessons at the students pace.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a police academy instructor for self defense. I have teaching certificates in Krav Maga, Gracie Combatives and Jeet Kune Do.
How did you get started teaching?
I always would teach my fellow classmates after we learned techniques because it was always so much fun for me. When the opportunity came up to teach fellow police officers I started doing that. Then an opportunity came up for the police academy teaching new recruits and the rest is history. I love teaching martial arts.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with thousands of students of all different ages.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that you like your instructor and that you are having fun learning.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is it that you want to accomplish in your training? Are you willing to put the time in that it will take to learn martial arts? Does the instructor teach me personally or am i just a number in the dojo? Are you willing to put in the practice time and hard work to get better? Are you having fun during your classes?
