I take a unique approach to each and every music lesson I teach. With every student I make sure to find out what they want to learn and accomodate. I can teach several instruments including bass, guitar, saxophone, clarinet, flute, piano, accordion as well as various other beginner instruments.

I emjoy teaching music lessons to students of all ages. I love to see my students enjoy learning an instrument and being passionate creating art. It brings me joy to know that I am having a positive impact on those I teach.

Gordon is a wonderful teacher. He is very patient with my 8 year-old daughter and she always looks forward to learning new music with Gordon. It can be challenging with kids keeping them motivated and interested in learning something that requires hard work and patience but Gordon makes learning fun for my daughter. My husband also enjoys learning from Gordon now and then. I would recommend him for both adults and children.

My process for working with a new student is to find out what kind of music they enjoy and focus my lesson plans on developing their ability to play music they enjoy.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been a professional freelance musician/composer/performer for the past decade. I went to college for music and have taught music in various settings.
