When it comes to understanding the physical demands and anatomic limitations of an elite dancer, athlete or performing artist, health and nutrition (particularly taking guidance from Ayurveda/Dosha, hormonal and holistic nutrition), and pushing limits to perform while still honoring recovery and injury prevention, I always aim to be a passionate expert and a dedicated professional. Equally important, I am keenly aware of the detriment of life imbalances and the countless mental and emotional struggles that plague focused individuals, dancers, and athletes. My primary ambition is to help cultivate alignment in talent to be healthy, happy, and successful human beings in the world and to avoid pitfalls on the path to fulfilling their dreams.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work with students age 12 years to adult (male and female) in Classical Ballet, and Argentine Tango technique and stylization for ladies. I thoroughly enjoy coaching beginner dancers and introducing them to the joy of movement and embracing the fulfilling challenges of proper technique and alignment. Additionally, I coach advanced and pre-professional dancers eager to skyrocket their skills and/or are prepping for career auditions, scholarship and university programs, and competition.
When beginning with a new student I always conduct a detailed assessment of skill and understanding and make sure that we are a good fit for ongoing lessons together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been fully committed to my work, training, and career as a dancer -performer, choreographer, and instructor for nearly 35 years. A detailed, professional is resume is available upon request.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Typically, I charge 90 hr in advance for private/semi-private lessons within my dance studio in Westminster. I do offer discounts for lesson packages, expl 10 hrs for $850. I request a minimum of 24 hrs for cancellation/rescheduling.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching and choreographing for dance/ballet and musical theatre productions in my early 20's as I was pursuing my stage career, and stepping away from dancing classical ballet professionally. In my 30's I switched gears and returned to my performing career with Argentine Tango while continuing to coach and choreograph contemporary and classical ballet.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am delighted that a dancer I work with from scratch at the age of 10 years has now been accepted into and received a generous 4-year scholarship from the dance department at my alma mater, Interlochen Arts Academy.
