I love playing music of all kinds and I strive to do it at the highest possible level. While my passion is jazz music, I grew up listening to all kinds of music - Bach, Beethoven, Wagner, Chuck Berry, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, Wes Montgomery, and many others. I believe that music is a great way to communicate with others and to convey feelings that we can't put into words.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Regardless of skill level, I will focus on the fundamental techniques of playing your instrument, whether that is correct picking position on the guitar, hand posture on the piano, or embochure on the trumpet. However, we will also have a fun time and you will be constantly be playing the type of music that you love and enjoy performing.
