My teaching approach,variable upon request,is to give my student music theory that will help him/her understand how to improvise methodically, build chords, and read music. I also have him/her pick a song they have a recording of, learn it, and write it down for them to practice, this serves well in learning chords . I am a professional musician,I attended Berklee College of Music for three years
