About
I am a schooled musician, a graduate from the Hartt School of Music, I studied with Sal Salvador and Larry Coryell, famous Jazz Musicians. I am also classically trained too. I am a strong sight reader and improvisor. I play many styles, Jazz, Rock, Country. I perform regulary around Ct and NYC, also have performed in Austin Texas too.
My skills include different styles of picking, slide, two hand technique, harmonics.
If you want to learn a certain style of music blues, jazz, rock, country I will teach you, if you are a beginner I will get you going playing chords, learning notes and the fretboard, I cn work with kids to adults
My teaching style will get you very familiar with moving around and learning the fretboard, learning to train your ear, improvise and learn chord as well as tunes too.
I love showing all ages and levels of students what I know and love seeing them develop into guitar players or get better at what they are doing. I want to see my students happy on what they are learning and that they are having a great time!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I want the new student to learn some chords, and get familiar with the fretboard(all the notes up and down), make it easier to play in different positions and learn chords faster, picking hand will develop over time, learn simple tunes, start listening and learning to read.
