About
Progressive Music has been in business for almost 30 years.Many of our students have become accomplished musicians and music teachers.We take pride in teaching our students and we start them as early as the age of 4.I am the owner of Progressive Music and I have been teaching for over 35 years.I have a music theory degree from the University of Bridgeport and have also attended Berklee College of Music.As a piano player I have performed overseas as well as many parts of the United States.I have performed with some well known artists, drummer Liberty DeVitto(Billy Joel) Drummer Joel Rosenblatt(Spyro Gyra) Saxophonist Fed Vigdor( average White Band,Michael McDonald) and many other artists.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Music Theory degree from the Univ of Bridgeport and also attended Berklee College of Music in Boston

All lessons are $30 per half hour
How did you get started teaching?
I studied accordion as a child and my teacher got me started teaching at the age of 16
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with all ages.i have taught from age 4 to 95. I also work with special needs students
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have been performing since the age of 15. There are many events I am fond of.some are performing in the Czech Rep,Germany,Italy as well as Carnegie Hall
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher that can adapt to you.Look for a teacher with experience and knowledge who is down to earth
