Victor Lepri Piano And Harmonica Classes
About
My name is Victor Lepri. I'm a Brazilian jazz musician who just moved to DC, i'm living near the Friendship Heights metro station. I'm graduated in music and piano teacher for more than 10 years, and piano player for about 18 years.
My main focus as a teacher is to get the student ready to play on his own any style he wants so I developed a method adapting classical piano, Pop, Jazz, Blues and Latin Music exercises. The repertoire will vary conform your needs and your main objectives.
The teaching method I use is mainly classical for beginner players, with the focus on developing a solid technique. For more advanced players the main focus is on performance of repertoire, improvisation and, if needed, theory study.
I'm fluent in English and already taught students from 06 to 70 years old.
The thing I most enjoy about my work is to see my students glad with their musical development, my goal is to form artists not only music readers. The objective is to play, read, creat, improvise in any music style the student want.
