for 25 years I've been guiding music makers to a love of and capability in music that hopefully leads to a lifetime of exploration and creativity in whatever type of music making suits them best. My students enjoy learning through the music that best speaks to them, whether it's pop, hip hop, classical, jazz, Broadway, or movie and game soundstracks. Each lesson fits the individual student and is designed to suit their needs and passions. My students have gone on to success in many different careers including music, and hav become members of proessional ensembles, youth orchestras, and conservatory programs.

I love working with my students to help them gain an even deeper understanding and love for the music that speaks to them. I live for the moment that my students light up with the joy of being able to play a piece that they've longed to learn!
