About
As a freelance performing pianist in the Washington DC area and public music teacher of 25 years, I have the experience needed to help pianists of all levels improve their playing ability. My background in music has prepared me to assess and correct pianistic challenges and my sense of humor and warm personality make it a pleasurable experience! With a Bachelor of Music from UNC-Greensboro, Masters of Music degrees in piano performance and piano pedagogy from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and a Bachelors degree in Education from the University of Alaska Anchorage, I have an educational background that makes me stand out as a master teacher. I currently am head of the piano department and teach at the Foulois Creative and Performing Arts Academy in Prince Goerges County, Maryland. I only teach online until I feel comfortable teaching in person.
Encouraging the natural musician in every person.
