About
Beginning as just a small residency piano programs at local federal buildings in the Washington, D.C. area, Études has expanded to include private piano, voice, and violin lessons to students of all ages at our studio in Georgetown. Throughout the year, we have other program offerings including adult lessons, residency programs, and day camps. Our highly qualified teachers come from all walks of life and all have a common goal of teaching students the highest standards of musical education. Études continues to grow and we are always looking for new opportunities to bring music to the people of Washington!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We assess new students based on their prior level of instruction in their instrument. We set them up with some curriculum the first lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our teachers all have at least a Bachelors degree or its international equivalent in their instrument. Some have Masters degrees and others have DMAs.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our lessons are $50 per 30-minute lesson, $75 per 45-minute lesson, and $100 per 60-minute lesson.
What types of students have you worked with?
We start students at ages 3.5 and up.
