About
I have a 200 hour resgistered yoga teacher license from the Yoga Alliance and a specialized 60 hour power vinyasa certifcation from Power Yoga Works. I have experience teaching vinyasa, ashtanga, power yoga, modified, gentle, and restorative yoga. I teach at 2 different yoga studios and have been practicing yoga since I started college.
I personalize the class to what you want to work on in a calming, judgement-free zone. Sessions can be collaborative and I welcome feedback at any time. I like to assist clients in attaining their goals and believe in the SMART method (specific, measureable, achievable, reasonable, and timed). There will be a focus on flexibility and strength as they go hand in hand, but I will tailor sessions to what areas the client prefers.
I have an undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in contemplative studies from West Chester University. I am currently getting my masters in counseling and art therapy at Holy Family University. I am a firm believer in a holistic approach to health and happiness and I believe yoga is an amazing approach towards this goal.
I find yoga healing physically, mentally, and spiritually. I belive yoga is a gift and getting to teach it and spread it to others is a magical thing.
