What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Zack Taylor, the owner and founder of TVIS, has had a lifelong dream of sharing his passion for music with everyone he meets. Zack has been teaching music and voice lessons since 2009. He was a triple music major while obtaining his bachelor’s degree from the prestigious School of Music at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. His majors were music education, music theory, and music composition. During college, Zack was able to study several contemporary vocal teaching methods/programs in order to gain understanding and knowledge of both classical (Bel Canto) and contemporary styles of singing. Zack learned how to use the vast knowledge of pedagogical techniques he gained from his study to aid singers in developing good vocal health, range, power, flexibility, and longevity. Zack is a published choral composer with the company Colla Voce, and has worked as a musician in Nashville and Central Florida in various capacities. He currently serves as organist, drummer, pianist, guitarist and vocalist at Christ Presbyterian Church in Ormond Beach, FL, commuting from his home in Casselberry. He plans to continue his learning in music in order to give others seeking musical endeavors the tools they need to succeed!
