About
Hello, I'm Robert. If you've wanted to learn guitar then I'll be more then happy to share what I've learned over the past 30 years. A little about my background as a professional guitarist... I've played in professional original bands. I have also played for cover bands and I've been a studio session artist. My style ranges from rock and metal to pop and I've worked with lots of hiphop artist. My personal style is modern rock/pop with a southern rock influence. Enough about me, so if you wanna learn your favorite songs or if you dream of being a pro, I'll help you on your path. Lets rock this out!!!
Guitar is my first love. It's what I do to relax and it's what I do to make myself feel good. Guitar is a language to me. When I hear another guitarist, I just don't hear notes, melody and technique, I hear a language that speaks to me. It's what I love and if you do what you love you'll never work again

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In the beginning I have a conversation with all my new students so I can find out their wants, needs and skill level. Then I base my lessons on what the students want to get from the lessons. I challenge my students in ways that keeps it fun but not discouraging.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up in a musical family. Even my great-grandmother played guitar. I learned a lot from relatives and professional guitar teachers. The majority of my knowledge come from on the job training playing professionally in a few original bands and working as a studio guitarist for a few producers.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is simple...
-Each lesson is 1 hour long
-Each lesson is $25
- If you sign up for multiple weekly lessons, then each lesson is only $20
How did you get started teaching?
I had a few buddies that were always asking me to teach them to play guitar. So I started teaching them and realized I love it!
What types of students have you worked with?
Typically beginners to intermediate
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To make sure they're going to teach you what you want to learn and not just teach you what they know.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Whether or not the student wants to just to learn to play their favorite songs they hear on the radio or maybe a student that wants to write songs in the Future. Maybe the students more of an intermediate and they're just trying to improve their skills, so they have to know what they want to improve to find a teacher able to do that.
