What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and skill levels from 7-70
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher that will adhere to your wants, not what they think you should know. If you happen to have the drive and determination to be great, then you will be.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are their short and long term goals? Do they want to be able to just play songs for their own enjoyment or do they want to pursue this as a possible career... once they put in the work. It's available to all. They just have to want it bad enough and be willing to put the time in on their instrument.
