What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depend on the student and their current level of experience. I can teach someone how to play if they have no experience or to shred or advance solo if they do. I do focus on fundamentals which is why I refer beginners to intermediate so I do not have to fix bad playing or practicing habits some advance students may have. I keep the lesson fun and upbeat.

$30 per half hour paid in advance monthly
How did you get started teaching?
After I graduated Musicians Institute I was hired to teach the "summer sessions" and have been teaching since, which was 1992
What types of students have you worked with?
All types. Beginners as young as 10 and as old as 63 and intermediate/advanced also of very varying ages and backgrounds
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My last gig with my trio "KnR Trio" which was great if I may say so myself
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would speak to them on the phone and be honest about your expectations and any concerns you may have. Also do not agree to any long term agreement. You need in my opinion at least 4-8 lessons to know if it is a good fit for both.
