How did you get started teaching?
As an athlete - track and field, obstacle course racing (think American NInja Warrior!) and Olympic lifting - moving on to a career in fitness was natural for me.
What types of students have you worked with?
All kinds - adults, kids, weekend warriors, athletes, seniors.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the teacher's style works for you. You should not dread your session with them! They should also have a credible certification. You might even ask for references or have one of their current clients talk to you about the service they received and why they would recommend that teacher.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Are my goals realistic?
Am I willing to put in the work to reach my goals?
Am I going to put in 100% effort?
