Play the Art Music and Art academy was founded by Meiti Mao, the classical pianist, composer, singer and church pianist, who is pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at University of Miami. We offer individual and group piano lessons for all ages, not limit to classical piano only but also jazz, pop music, composition, and theory lesson. We also offer singing lessons. All of our students are able to compose their own music and we are able to have their ideas and expressions transformed into the music.

Learning music is not only having a knowledge of how to play an instrument, but also developing children’s unlimited potentials, their logical thinking, their concentration, their memory and a lot more that would bring a huge impact to their future.

We also offer a professional music exam preparation, such as ABRSM which is the biggest music exam in the world. It covers performance, theory, improvisation and dictation. It’s very critical when the Universities of Ivy League is looking for the young talented musician, holding an ABRSM music exam can be their VIP pass getting into the greatest schools.

The tuition: $70 per hour for one individual lesson. $60 per hour for practice session, which is very important to avoid any mistake that the student might have during each lesson. The wrong method would need double or even triple time to be corrected, and most importantly, wrong method would gradually cause severe injury.

Students are able to ask all their questions they have for the last lesson during the practice sessions, sometime the practice sessions would be group lessons meet online to have all possible questions you may or may not have yet.

We offer this new teaching method to help student achieve their goal much more faster by having individual or group practice session between each individual lesson.

The tuition: $70 per hour for individual lesson and $60 per hour for practice session. Students will receive 15%discount if pay monthly: $442, including one individual lesson and one practice session each week. Please feel me to ask any questions!
