I teach Improvisation and Harmony to preferably adults of Intermediate and advanced levels. Classes are mostly for guitarists that want to improve their sound with not so common chords and solos.
Music is joy. When I see how my students enjoy playing, improvising, listening and sharing the experience, that makes me feel acomplished and I find myself learning from all that. I specially love when I can take a student to accompany me to perform at a gig. Then my spirit soars :>)

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I set up an appointment to evaluate their goals. They should also decide if they get a good vibe from me, trust and respect are needed in order to initiate a learning process. Also they should decide if my schedule and rates are convenient. About the classes, I'm not conventional but hands on and extremely reliant on practice, at least at the beginning.
