About this pro

My teaching approach: my teaching approach is that it should always be fun but worth the money for the student...every lesson should be educational at all levels...my gear is american fenders, gibson, epiphone guitar and bass, vox amps, mac book pro, and MOTU interfaces along with several recording software and monitoring units. My influences are: Santana, Wes Montgomery, George Benson, George Harrison, Joe Walsh, The Beatles, ELO, etc...etc...etc...oh \"good music\"!My guitar lessons take place in: The teacher's studio or the student's homeGuitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours: 7 days per week during normal and not so normal hours...I am very flexible!Guitar Techniques: Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Open tuning, Fingerstyle, Slide Guitar, Vocal Accompaniment, Performance, Improvisation, Jamming Skills, Reading Music, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises, Song Writing, Recording and Production, Guidance In Equipment SelectionYour first guitar lesson with me might include the following: I usually assess the playing level by asking the student to tell me his/her experience with lessons, their interests, and goals...I will then assess the rhythm and pitch aptitude and then follow with a plan of study which gets reviewed and reshaped often!A guitar lesson with me might entail the following: a typical lesson will start by tuning with a tuner I provide, followed by an overview of the lesson as well as a quick prior lesson review....the students usually ask questions and we begin...we usually jump right into playing (a very much applied format)...reading music may or may not be part of the lessons depending on the student\'s goals! The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following: A student that takes his lessons seriously but has fun at it!
