Customised lessons for Beginners and Returning Players. We’ll spend some time talking about what you want out of your lessons and what kind of guitar player you want to be. We’ll teach you as much guitar theory as you want to learn, the right way. There are tons of guitar players who teach to make extra money. We teach because we love to teach and that makes a difference. Lessons are energetic and fun.

I come from the Berklee tradition and combined with years of experience have modified this method to make it more accessible to beginners usuing songs you already know and love to teach you theory.

We’ll work on diatonic movement, scale formulas, chord vocabulary, rhythmic notation, sight reading, transcribing and performing. We can study specific guitar players and styles and transcribe solos.

We’ll go over practical things like changing and pulling your strings, action, guitar picks, amps etc. if your goal is to play with others, we’ll get you ready to jump in anywhere, anytime with confidence. Or, maybe you just wanna learn a few songs. That’s great too. It’s your lesson.
